These 3 girls -Fai'ana, Felicia and Jane - really stepped up and filled in some big boots in week 6 by taking on Road Patrol jobs. They were reliable and on time. You have made Room 10 proud! Ka Pai!
Hi there, my name is Bella and I am a student in Room 12 at Mangapapa School. I really like how you stepped up to take on the responsibilities of the school . It made me think of how at our school we do something similar on the roads. Have you thought about maybe explaining why you took up the task? It would make people really look up to you for being part of the community. Apart from that you guys did a great job on helping your school. If you would like to see my learning, my blog is https://bellasrlearning.blogspot.com/
Have you ever felt scared to try something new? Have you felt your heart race and felt the butterflies tumbling inside? When you just do the thing that feels terrifying -there is a sense of triumph and a relief that makes you think- that wasn't that bad.. especially when you get success!
Room 10 was most interested in the crystals we saw when we went to see what other classes had done for science. We made edible crystal out of water and sugar- not everyone liked eating/drinking it- the crystals were yummier then the syrup!
This term Glen Taylor School has an inquiry focus of science. We are aiming on doing 1 science experiment everyday. In week 1 we did an experiment to see if a balloon will pop when put on top of a flame- what do you think will happen? We made our hypothesis and also tried the same but with a balloon filled with water.
Good job girls hope you had fun in Road Patrol.
